Prayer
Prayer is important in the life of our church
The psalmist tells us that unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain (Psalm 127). It is a reminder that we cannot achieve anything in our own strength but that the Lord can perform great things through us in our weakness - we need to be people of prayer!
We meet twice a month with our friends at All Saints Riseley to pray.
On the 2nd Wednesday of each month we meet at 8.00pm in the Vicarage Extension in Riseley to pray for the church, our village, each other and the world – as we commit to God our hopes, dreams, wants and needs.
On the 4th Wednesday of the month we meet at 11.00am in the church building. We pray for everything from world issues and the persecuted church to matters closer to home.
